DuckOne is the name of the theme, or the graphics of the site.
It was designed and approved entirely by master illustrator and designer Jeff Vincent with the
assistance of Tim Flammger for the digitalization, and the html code.
I then fit the html into an XML stylesheet, so to fit the lenya Content Management System. DuckOne is, infact, run by lenya, a content manager from the Apache Software Foundation which is based on cocoon.
A content manager is a program that manages the content of a site. So you program it with a specific look and feel, and it provides you with easy means to change, modify and update its content. That's what lenya is. Cocoon on the other hand, is simply a set of utilities to make life easier for those who have to build intelligent web sites such as lenya.
